Candy Loves Joe, Nick and Kevin

Hurry, JBnoys! Candy magazine's September issue is now available in stores, and it features two articles on the Jonases--one about Camp Rock (its Asian premiere is twelve days away!) and another because they're one of this year's Candy Cuties (good job on the voting!). It also says there that they'll feature more of Camp Rock in their October issue. They are also on the cover of K-Zone's September issue (no cover as of yet), probably with a huge feature. Be sure to buy both!

In other news, Nick Jonas has been mentioned on a Candymag.com blog entry written by Marla Miniano, where the topic is her crushes.

OPRAH! CAMP ROCK SOUNDTRACK! etc...

According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer that the Oprah:Jonas Episode will be shown on August 31 on the Hallmark Channel!
So watch out for that!!

AND! The CAMP ROCK soundtrack will be out TOMMOROW!
*they changed the date since its a holliday today*
So the Camp Rock Soundtrack costs 395 php and the 2 disc special edition one costs 459 php!!

The CD also includes the Philippine version of 'This is Me' sung by local artists Julianne and Miguel Escueta.

CAMP ROCK SINGING CONTEST ON MAGIC 89.9!!

Okay, JBnoys! Time to unleash that inner popstar in you!

The highly-anticipated Disney Channel newest original movie, Camp Rock will air the Philippines on September 7, 2008. MCA Music will be releasing the soundtrack for this exciting Disney release.

To further create hype, MCA Music and Disney Channel collaborate with Today’s Best Music, Magic 89.9 to create a promo campaign to send 50 lucky listeners, age 8-16, to live their dream to become musicians of the future through a one weekend music camp ... MAGIC MUSIC CAMP!

The camp will be a fun-filled day with artists and celebrities from the entertainment industry like musicians, songwriters, singers, TV personalities, and of course Magic 89.9’s famous DJs, who would share their experiences with the winners. Performances and workshops are also part of the programme.

The day will be filled with lots of music, surprises, food and FUN FUN FUUUN!!

Jonas on Monday Edition of The Philippine Star

Our favorite boys have been featured in the Entertainment section of the newspaper. It talks about the worldwide sensations that they currently are, and how the author thinks about their sophomore album. Also, Hanson and the Moffats were mentioned in a comparative way (as were other bands, even the Jackson Five), yet again.

Considering how hip Pinoys are with music trends from abroad, I honestly think this one took a long time coming. But it has finally happened. We have now warmed up to the Jonas Brothers and their self-titled CD is at last available in the local stores.

The Jonas Brothers are Nick, Joseph and Kevin. They are part Italian, Cherokee Indian, Irish and German. They are seen in the Disney Channel in the reality show Living the Dream that shows them at work and on the road. They are also the stars of Camp Rock, a TV movie that drew nearly nine million viewers. Most of those are teen-aged girls who believe that they are the cutest boys ever to hit the screen.
